Jennifer

About Me:
Hey there, my name is Jennifer, but my friends call me Ginger.
I can get along with anyone, find common ground and have fun!
I love to be around others and make people happy. It is a priority of mine to help in any way I can through being kind to all living beings. I love to dance, to live an active and healthy lifestyle, and hearing from different point of views so that I can expand my consciousness.
I aspire to infuse positivity and light into the lives of my clients. By choosing my services, they welcome more than just a cleaner – they gain a supportive companion who is eager to share not only the responsibility of maintaining a tidy space but also the knowledge of effective organisation and life management. With me, they’ll discover a friend who not only helps in creating a clean environment but also encourages a holistic approach to organising different facets of their lives.
As I go about the task of cleaning, I find solace in the company of podcasts, audiobooks, or music. The lively banter of podcast hosts or the immersive world created by an audiobook can turn a mundane cleaning session into an engaging experience. On the other hand, sometimes, I intentionally choose silence, transforming the act of cleaning into a form of meditation, allowing my mind to wander freely.
When I extend my cleaning services to clients, my approach shifts. If they are present in the house while I work, I often engage in conversation with them, creating a more personalised and social cleaning experience. This not only allows me to understand their preferences better but also adds a human touch to the service I provide.
My choice of audio companionship or the decision to embrace silence isn’t just about making cleaning more enjoyable; it’s a reflection of my belief in the importance of balance. Whether I seek entertainment or quiet contemplation, the act of cleaning becomes a versatile and fulfilling part of my routine. I’ve found that this personalised approach not only enhances my productivity but also contributes to a positive and holistic cleaning experience for both myself and my clients.

Sydney
Catherine

About Me:
Hi I’m Cat.
My cleaning style ranges from heavy detail (given enough time I do a really good deep clean of areas people cant reach / see, and areas they just don’t want to see). I find people become blind to dirt and mess in their own homes having seen it accumulate slowly over time. I enjoy coming in with fresh eyes and a smile and making it all bright and shiny again. Job satisfaction comes from seeing the transformation and the joy it rings to those using the space.
My motto/service tagline : Clean your home. Clear your mind, Live your life.
Torn between dedicating my time to either a cleaning or caring role, Cleaning Companions was the obvious choice. I am fit and strong, have a positive and upbeat disposition and a solid can-do attitude. I have several years cleaning experience in commercial (offices), residential (homes), construction (building sites) and other cleaning services. I have recently been doing decluttering services, cleaning out garages, old cupboards and lifetime collections of things, helping to remove unwanted and no longer need items either taking them to charity, selling them online and retuning the profits or removing to waste as preferred. I feel confident that whatever the task or issue, I can make sure it is resolved, completed or otherwise ‘disappeared’.
Location: Edgecliff
Clearances: Police Check, Working With Children check, White Card
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Spoken languages: Only English but I’m pretty good at it. Had some practice.
Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy painting (badly!) and anything outdoors. I love the ocean (doesn’t everyone?) and spending time with my 3 year old Burmese cat. (This is starting to sound like a really lame dating profile.)
Favourite TV shows, movies or books: I also like inspiring movies or documentaries about nature.
Favourite Cleaning Tips: That would be telling! I have accumulated many tips in the time I’ve been cleaning and have learned from some of the best. Two secrets to a good clean are knowing how an area is used so you can clean it appropriately and using the right tools for the task.
Goals and Aspirations: Loneliness and lack of interaction are now proven contributors to physical and mental health affecting quality of life and ultimately life expectancy. A dirty disorganised home is just plain depressing. I look forward to enhancing quality of life in those affected by disability by providing a clean home, completing tricky or undesirable tasks and being a consistent and caring companion by being a positive presence in your home, a visitor you look forward to seeing each time.
Availability: This can change from week to week. Currently, I am committed to other bookings on Thursdays and Fridays. Monday to Wednesday bookings are flexible and I am available Saturdays and Sundays if required.
I am available to work throughout Sydney eastern Suburbs ie within council areas: Woollahra, Waverly, Randwick, Bayside and City of Sydney and North Sydney. However, for locations beyond a half-hour radius from Edgecliff, I will kindly request financial compensation to cover travel expenses.

Favourite TV shows, movies or books: I don’t tend to watch tv very much at all and don’t own a tv but if I do watch Netflix I enjoy documentaries on nature or science, space travel, time, psychedelics, and health. I do enjoy a comedy too.
I haven’t read many books in my recent years, but I did as a teenager so maybe if you like to read we could read together? At the moment I have a book on heartfulness about finding peace within self. And I started to watch a film everything everywhere all at once that I need to finish.
Favourite Cleaning Tips: I like to use essential oils when cleaning so it cleanses the body, mind and soul as well as making everything fresh. Also vacuum after you dust so you don’t have to do double the work. Use vinegar and lemon juice for glass and it leaves no marks.
Goals and Aspirations: I would like to bring my own practises of yoga and meditation to help you also come back to yourselves to feel more centred and home in your bodies. To find peace in a chaotic world and happiness. To help you feel connected through conversations as well.
Availability: No specific times or days but I freelance for another job sometimes 3 days a week but would know a week in advance.
I am available to work anywhere in Melbourne where it is easy to access public transport from Brunswick. However, for locations beyond a half-hour radius from Brunswick, I will kindly request financial compensation to cover travel expenses.
Emma

About Me:
I’m thrilled to introduce myself – I’m Emma, and I bring over 5 years of experience in aged care to my role as a cleaner with Cleaning Companions Australia.
I believe that life should be fun and fulfilling, and that philosophy extends to my work. I’m passionate about connecting with people, and I genuinely enjoy making new friends and learning about their unique stories. That’s why I chose to join Cleaning Companions Australia.
Cleaning isn’t just a job for me – it’s a source of joy and satisfaction. I take pride in being thorough and meticulous, and I love the feeling of transforming a space into a clean, welcoming haven. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a room go from cluttered to sparkling and knowing I’ve made someone’s day a little brighter.
My cleaning style ranges from detailed deep cleans to regular upkeep, always tailored to your needs. I understand how easy it is to become blind to the gradual build-up of dirt and mess in our homes. With fresh eyes and a positive attitude, I enjoy tackling those hard-to-reach spots and areas that often get overlooked.
When you book me, you’re not just getting a cleaner – you’re gaining a friendly, dependable companion who truly cares about your home and your happiness. I look forward to meeting you and making your space shine!

I am a true animal lover, and I find immense joy in spending time with animals and observing birds in their natural habitats. Whether it’s a stroll in the park or a visit to a wildlife sanctuary, I cherish these moments of connection with nature.
Traveling is another one of my great loves. I’ve been fortunate enough to explore many different countries, immersing myself in diverse cultures and experiencing the beauty each place has to offer. Each journey enriches my life and broadens my perspective, and I love sharing stories from my travels with new friends and clients.
Another passion of mine is fine dining. I delight in discovering new restaurants, savoring exquisite dishes, and appreciating the art of culinary creativity. There’s something special about enjoying a beautifully crafted meal and the memories that come with it.
These interests not only bring joy to my life but also help me connect with people from all walks of life. I’m always excited to learn about others’ experiences and share my own, creating meaningful connections wherever I go.

Eleanor

About Me:
Hello there, call me Nori. I’m driven by a desire to have fun in all aspects of my life. I really enjoy being with people and consider myself a highly social person. I live with lots of friends and am a part of a big community of travellers and open minded alternative people. I decided to join Cleaning Companions Australia because I am a good cleaner, I’m thorough and I find it satisfying and enjoyable. But the main reason is because I would like to meet different people and learn about their individual walks of life.
I love to put on music whilst I clean and dance around whilst I’m working because it makes it fun!
Location: Melbourne
Clearances: Police check
Ethnicity: Caucasian (British)
Spoken languages: English – (Native).
Hobbies and Interests: I’m a keen outdoor enthusiast. I love spending time out in nature camping, hiking or rock climbing. I love to be creative and try different ways of making art. Recently I’ve been learning how to make pottery on a wheel.
My goal is to be able to make a full tea set. I enjoy reading and watching TV as well. I like a range of styles and genres but I think my favourite might be fantasy. I love being lost in a world of magic.
Favourite Cleaning Tips: My top tips for cleaning would be to start with the kitchen and bathrooms, always working from top to bottom, finishing with the floors. I also would say that using old towel rags to wipe everything down is the most effective as it leaves everything well polished and streak free.
Goals and Aspirations: I have several incentives and goals in working for cleaning companions. Firstly I would like to save money so that I can fund adventures across Australia, hopefully to Tazmania. A personal goal of mine is to spend more of my time in selfless acts of generosity to others. I recognise my privilege and want to use it to help people feel the best they can in life. I hope to make a difference just through being present and friendly, giving them an ear for listening about their life or maybe bring some of my own stories in. I always aim to laugh as I believe it is truly the best medicine.
Availability: At the moment I’m flexible and adaptive.
